The hero we see does good deeds for his people in community and is very quick to do the right thing. We usally see a hero doing things that are good for everyone and not just one person. Typically it is for everyone to benefit. Alex K P6

When society (and myself) think of heros, we often think of super heros from comic books such as: Cat woman, Batman, Superman and many others. Tights and stretchy pants often come to mind, but when thinking about their attire you often think about their motives behind their actions and their traits. When we think of your stereotypical hero, strength, courage and bravery are traits that come to mind, with a motive to be selfless. Although I find these heros interesting, the heros that I find more honorable heros are the ones who do acts of kindness and receive little to no praise. A person that is willing to go above and beyond to help another person. When I think of heros, I think of our soldiers fighting to keep us safe and protected. I think of those who where in the 911 attack trying to help others get out. A hero doesn't have to be someone politically driven, it could be the lady down the road spending all morning to make dinners to deliver to the children living in poverty or are just struggling. Regards I think heros (whatever type), fiction or none fiction, show courage and strength, whether that may be physically or mentally.

A trait or characteristic of a hero is the ability to overcome and face their fear or weakness. Another trait heros might have is a strength or ability they decide to use for the benefit of their society. Anyone can be a hero as long as they are helping people in there society and at least one person looks up to them.

When we think of a hero we usually think of them as being brave and having alot of courage. The hero also is willing to sacrifice their life to save anothers. Such as a modern day hero like fireman rescuing people from a burning building, or soldiers fighting for our country. A hero will always put everyone before themselves.

Heroes are perpetually in battle. Whether it be with an environment, other individuals, or with themselves, they are driven to overcome conflicts as they occur. It's this drive that sets them apart. Not always, but often, an obstacle is thrust upon the hero-figure unwillingly. Their inherently heroic nature--passionate, idealistic--sees them through the overcoming of that obstacle.
We like our heroes to be capable and brave; we like them to be larger-than-life good. We also like to see ourselves in them, and therefore, we need them to be flawed like us. Heroes will have their vices. When they conquer them (or at least try to) with courage and integrity, they affirm their heroism.

Heroes often remind me of the stereotypical medieval knight. They are often honorable, chivalrous, noble, brave, and most of all selfless. A hero is anyone who puts someone above him/herself. In our community, I think that many of our heroes go unrecognized and deserve recognition.

A hero is someone who is selfless and always puts others first before him/her. The hero can be seen as courageous, like a knight saving the princess from the evil dragon. They see the good in all things and always do the right thing. They are admired for their courage and noble qualities.

When society says someone is a hero they are talking about someone who does things to help others out. Sometimes people think of heroes as people with superpowers or just a person helping others. Heroes are people who go out of their way to help people and do what is right.

I associate heroes with Greek gods and goddesses. They are portrayed as strong, unconquerable heroes. I think of Zeus and Hercules. Hercules had to do many tasks to be able to be a god at Mount Olympus, which I think every hero must do. They are courageous and are never afraid of anything.

When we were kids we thought a man or woman with tights and capes that could fly or shoot lasers out of their eyes were heroes. However, my hero was Max from “The Goofy Movie”. He was slick, cool, popular and could do whatever he wanted. That is what I wanted be. As time goes on, kids turn into teens and then adults and we all start to realize what a hero means to us. Queen Latifah is my hero because she was overweight and didn’t care what others thought of her. She was bold, confident and successful in her life. Now it is great for a person to build many schools, hospitals and great buildings with their names on them, but sometimes it is the little things that make each and everyone of us a hero. Heroes are often ordinary that do extraordinary thing for others.

Our society typically pictures a hero as a strong, brave and passionate person. Heroes are generally chosen to be heroes, they don't decide for themselves. Heroes always have some ultimate obstacle to overcome, whether it is an evil person, something in their past or a personal flaw. We like to associate with heroes so they will generally have flaws which make them seem more like us.

The hero's that we have in mind are always a male. It is very rare when we find a girl hero. They are very couragious and stand up for what the believe in. The heros are often put into difficult and challenging situations that they must overcome. Their will always be the "bad guy" who the hero needs to defeat. Heros are usually role models to us. most of the time a hero has some kind of superpower that defines them from regular people. They are the ones we look up to and wish we could have some sort superpower they have. Hero's have a lot of people who look up to thema dn admire them for what they do.

the way i think of a hero is someone who is brave and strong, and has some super natural power that no one eles has, but i also think of a hero has someone that puts others before them, and is thinking of the greater good, and what is best for everyone.

A hero is usually a man or a women who has some type of special ability. This special ability has a wide array of special powers like, super strength, being really smart, or just being really brave. Every hero also has certain qualities that he or she posses like a strong will, being courageous, and not being selfish. Many times a hero is tempted to brake one or more of these qualities. At that point a hero can sometimes become a villain or he can become an even greater hero. The hero that does not brake these traits is known as the good guy.

A hero to me is a person that will stand up for what the strongly believe i, doesn't have to be necessarily be going with the flow or what is the new norm. Heros are strong honest people, who do not get paid for there heroic deeds with money but more knowing they did what is right in there heart. They can be anybody who is willing to fight for something that they believe is goo.

When i think of the word hero I typically associate it with many characteristics. One obvious characteristic would be bravery because the hero has to be able to save people that are in need or in distress. Another one would be humility, the hero has to be able to know that he/she can't brag about how famous he/she is to the people, but to instead fulfill his/her deeds.He/she also can't expect a reward in return for his work because he/ she's doing the people that are in need a favor. Finally, last but not least, the hero has to have a great heart and care for others, and I not only mean care about one's safety, but one's feelings. He/she has to be able to listen to others when they need someone to talk to.

When i think of hero's i think of superhero's like Superman or Batman. But hero's are not fictional characters that take on villains and save the day. Hero's are people like the firefighters in 9/11 who put others well being before their own. Hero's should be selfless and courageous, without wanting any praise for what they have done.

Heroes fortify the norm. They are constantly needed in society to defeat the challenges of today. Whether it be to relieve from physical or emotional bondage, they are able to overcome that challenge, and in turn influences society. We see heroes as being selfless, considerate, and courageous; because of these attributes, we look towards their example and admire their ambitions to help society.

Our minds like to see a hero in every battle or struggle. Throughout human history, one solitary figure defines each revolt, revolution, and skirmish. It is this figure that symbolizes the characteristics that we visualize to be heroic. To better oneself, and have a universal knowledge by the end of the journey - this is the ultimate goal. To leap a gap of the unknown with faith and confidence to reach the mysterious but inevitable goal on the other side. To make mistakes, but later better yourself because of them. To make friends, and make enemies. To impact others, and to shine through everlasting darkness. The hero is us - it shows us who we are, but more importantly, who we can be.
