I have to agree with this, I think technology is making us dumber because we are being distracted and not paying attention to our homework or the lesson. This happens to me all the time, I am typing an assignment, and I easily get distracted by Facebook. I am a victim because there is times when I hear my phone ring and I just have to look at it because it gets me worried, I think about it a lot and I think its an emergency or something serious when it is just someone saying "Hey". It says in the article that many teens have to multitask, but when I try it, I either have to focus more on one thing than the other, and that is when I start to make careless mistakes. I think it is important for teens to put their cell phones aside for couple of hours, so we can focus on things that are good for us and not get more dumber than now!
