After looking at the multiple comments from Mr. Baird and Turnitin, I have found out a few things about my writing and how I can improve it. I found out that I am capable of writing a solid piece, and I am able to incorporate quotes into my paper pretty well. Although I can incorporate the quotes I don't always use them to make my work deeper. I find that I am able to start strong, but I don't always carry momentum through the entire essay or paper. I now know that by using the quotes I choose I can create a more in depth piece and keep my ideas strong until the end.

When reading the comments Mr. Baird and Turnitin left me, I learned many strong, and many weak aspects of my writing. I do not focus on my grammatical errors enough, and should learn to improve on my basic writing skills. One of my stronger writing characteristics I have is my ability to recognize the depth in each topic of the writing assignment, although I tend to take the depth too far. I need to keep strength in my thougts, yet contain them at the same time. I will now begin focussing my writing on the simpler things, and only expanding my thoughts when necessary.

When I read Mr.Baird's comments on my essay I learned that I need to pay more attention to the book "They Say I Say". I also learned that the book could help me with the formats they have for quotes, and many other things. I didn't get any thing from Turnitin because I forgot that it was supposed to be turned into there. I didn't have many grammatical mistakes that I saw.
