Hi. Your final exam will have three parts.
1. A vocab review of chapters 1-7. It will likely be about 50 questions.
2. A 50 question exam on the topics and concepts we have covered this semester. Use your notes, especially your vocabulary and terminology section, to help you with this. Some topics that will be covered are the 6 Traits, the reading comprehension strategies we have studied, the different types of leads and conclusions and the seven step essay process we have covered this semester, and aspects of the different types of essays we have covered.
3. An essay exam where you will be asked to write either a narrative, a descriptive/illustrative, or a definition essay. Be sure you know how to do each of them. Your essay will need to use one of the lead and conclusion techniques we have studied. I suggest brainstorming potential topics for these essays now so you don't go into the assignment cold.
