Freshmen: Today we focused on Act I, Scene 1 from Romeo and Juliet. Read 1.1 and 1.2 for homework tonight and finish your own sonnet for class tomorrow. For extra credit, go to http://www.a2skyline.org/huron.english/files/howtoreadliteraturelikeaprofessor_ft.pdf and read Chapter 4: If It's Square, It's a Sonnet. Read it and write a half-page summary and bring it to class on Friday. 25 points extra credit possible.
Sophomores: Today we did a Hero Catch-Phrase entry and focused on the traits of effective leadership. Continue to keep up with the reading and work on Membean.
Honors Sophomores: Today we did a Hero Catch-Phrase entry and worked on finishing up The Kite Runner and making progress in Campbell. Finish our novel for Friday.
CNF: Today we finished viewing Rivers and Tides.
