Freshmen: Today we talked about the first four chapters of Lord of the Flies, and did some schema builiding for the text. We then talked about how to end free verse poems as well as how to format lines and stanzas. For next period, you need to revise your two current poems for their conclusion and format, and then write a new one that adheres to the first five principals that we have learned about free verse poetry (I, participles, leads, conclusions, and format). For next block period, chapter 7 from Lord of the Flies is due.

hello, about the poems, does it have to be narrative? and can just have 3 stanzas on each of them?
hi, doesn't have to be narrative, but does have to integrate the five concepts we have learned so far. you know i never specify length - only depth.
