This is my first ever blog. I am creating it so my students can check it for notes and assignments. Today the freshmen played a Jeopardy! style game to as a prereading guide for The Elements of Style, and the sophomores learned about The 10% Solution. Freshmen should read the foreword, introduction, and chapter 1 from ELEMENTS, due Thursday - there will be a quiz. They can use their nightly 20 minutes of reading for this assignment. Sophs should bring their original film essay final draft as well as a hard copy of their 10%ed one, due Friday. Sophs also need to finish chapter 18 of The Power of One for Monday. Happy Halloween!
